King Perka $exxx (he/him) is an Atlanta-made but Charlotte-based drag king who’s here to bring you comedy, social commentary, and dad jokes galore. As a member of the first-ever cast of the all drag king competition King of Drag, King Perka is taking the stage by storm, coast to coast!

He’s headlined the Austin International Drag Festival and the Hostess City Hoedown in Savannah, and has even graced the stage for San Francisco’s Oaklash drag festival. Follow him on Instagram at @thekingperkases to catch his next show!

I want to expand people's mind of what the art of drag can be. It's more than a "MAN" dressing as a "WOMAN". It's queer people expressing the fluidity of gender and gender expression. Drag can be funny, emotional, empowering, scary, healing. Most importantly, drag is something that can give people a sense of visibility and community.
